Investment plans worth 1.0 billion euros are currently in the process of getting approval or pre-approval according to Christos Staikos, the head of Enterprise Greece, the national agency for promoting investments and extroversion.

There are increasing signs that the Greek tourism season is growing, at least as far as arrivals are concerned, as the first figures for October show that this rise has not come with a proportionate rise in occupancy rates at hotels.
